c++ and linux

Hi everyone

I have a simple question my parents just bought me a c++ book by sams and I am just wondering if i'm going to have problems with it because I use linux(newbie).

You shouldn't. If you do, it'll most likely be nonstandard code that some compilers can't compile. Anyways, best of luck! and remember to post when you have trouble.

ok
is there a program like http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp.html for linux??? I know I can use a normal text editor but bloodshed is really easy to use.
